Paper quilled Earrings for Itsy Bitsy Contest - 1

Hi all,

its been a very long time since i have entered this blog.

Recently happened to see a contest in Itsy Bitsy and decided to try my hands on.

The theme was based on the picture seen below.

Based on this , i created two Paper quilled earrings to match with the colour combo.

Paper quilled wall frames

Hello Fellow bloggers,
Its been a long time since i have entered by blogging world. Now, i am back with a bang.
This post includes a set of 8 wall frames which are ordered by my friend for her parents new home.A big thanks to her for the trust she had on me.
This work is dedicated to the art called 'quilling' which gave me a new 'me'. Also, i would like to dedicate this work to all the fellow quillers, bcoz i underwent so much pain,tension to make this simple work.. which made think that how much pain and tension to create such wonderful works...
Most importantly, this work is completely inspired from the book 'A Guide to Quilling Flowers' by Helen Walter .. and i take this opportunity to thanks the great personality who introduced such beautiful creation.

Simply WAVES

Hi all.. 

this is my new post. Pritesh announced a blog aniversary challenge  to make 'Quillography' .. i was wondering what to make.. then thought of making my own identity.. KRAFTYWAVES... 

hope this looks good.. i had limited time to finish this one..so made it simple.Blue is my fav color.. and the bg paper is A4 pastel blue cardstock(the camera makes it white).. hope i have stick to the rules.

Photoframes

Here comes my 50th post..

This frame was a gift to my niece's first bday.. it was plain and so i decided to make some quilled work on it.

I wanted to keep it simple.Hope u all like it.

When i was doing the frame, i just got an idea of creating my own photo frame.I googled and got many ideas to create one. So , i mingled all and created mine.
Hope this looks good. Fit for 6" * 4" photo. Quilling has to be done on it.

Exploding Box

My first try to Exploding Box. I have just did a small attempt ,wondering how the result will be.Actually got inspired from Nupurpriya from NupurCreative http://nupurcreatives.blogspot.in/2012/05/mothers-day-explosion-box.html in which she has done an amazing work .

fridge magnets

 This is made from Ice cream stick .

These two little fairy magnets are inspired from 'Miniature Quilling' book.. in which i changed the width from 2mm to 3mm.

Quilled butterfly!

I always had a desire to make a butterfly frame work. This work took a long time since i had other commitments to finish and finally i am happy that i finished it.
